Wigan Warriors’ Friday night game against Huddersfield Giants is in serious doubt due to an a reported Corona virus outbreak.
The PA news agency has reported that the Giants have reported at least five positive cases which would be enough for them to postpone the clash.
A decision is thought to be imminent.
It comes after Sunday’s Betfred Women’s Super League fixture between St Helens and Wigan Warriors has also been postponed.
One of the St Helens players tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday. Test and Trace analysis of the match and the celebrations that followed has required more than five St Helens players to self-isolate for ten days as close contacts,
